- Brown scored its first touchdown on a one-yard rush by Smith to cap an 11-play, 75-yard drive over 4:15 to cut it to 66-10 at 5:32 of the third quarter.

QUOTES FROM THE COACH: JAMES PERRY
- "They played very well and we played very poorly, which you can't do against a team like that. We'll go back and look for ways to get better, and I know the team will be hungry to do that. While we didn't show it today, this has been a very good group to coach and a very hard-working group. I'm confident we'll play better next week against Columbia."
- "Today was an anomaly. That was not Brown football. We'll look at what we can do differently so we can put a better effort on the field. Columbia is a good football team so it will be incumbent on us to practice like it and make the changes from today that are going to be required to play better. From a motivation standpoint, coming back home and having an opportunity to play Columbia, I know the kids will be hungry to do that."
UP NEXT
The Bears will return to Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium for the final time this season next Saturday against Columbia for Senior Day and Salute to Service Day. Kickoff is set for noon on ESPN+.
