
Men's basketball hosts UMass Lowell

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's basketball team will host UMass Lowell this Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. as the Bears look to claim their second consecutive victory.
Brown is coming off its first win of the year against Stony Brook, while the River Hawks have started the season out hot, going 4-1 over their first five.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears (1-3)
- Three Bears scored in double figures in their win over the Seawolves. Kino Lilly Jr. led the way with 19, Nana Owusu-Anane had 16, and Kalu Anya posted 11.
- Anya posted his first collegiate double-double as he also grabbed 10 boards.
- Lilly hit a season-high five threes against Stony Brook, while he also added five rebounds, three steals, and two assists.
- Lowell's four wins this season have come against Fisher, Columbia, Sacred Heart, and Emerson. The lone loss was by single digits at the Big Ten's Rutgers.
- Lowell has averaged 91.4 points per game over the first five, while allowing opponents to score just 62.4.
- Six-foot-nine senior forward Abdoul Karim Coulibaly leads the River Hawks in both points and rebounds with 15.5 and 9.5 respectively.
- Brown leads the all-time series against Lowell at 5-1.
- Last season's matchup at Lowell, saw Tamenang Choh score a then-career-high 26 points and his 1,000th career point in his hometown of Lowell, Mass. as he powered the Bears to a 73-63 victory.
