
Women's swimming and diving falls to Harvard in Friday dual

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's swimming (1-3, 1-3 Ivy) fell to Harvard (2-0, 1-0 Ivy) on Friday afternoon at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. The Bears had three first-place finishes against the Crimson.
"We raced tough tonight against the defending Ivy champs," said head coach Kate Kovenock. "I'm excited about how we are building this team and who we are becoming this fall. Tomorrow is a significant growth opportunity for our women to turn around and put it all on the line again."
Sara Barrett continued her strong early season, posting the only two individual wins on the day for the Bears. Barrett took first in both the 1000 freestyle (10:12.41) and the 500 freestyle (4:58.79). Brown also won the 400 freestyle relay with the team of Anna Podurgiel, Audrey Orange, Kelly Dolce and Morgan Lukinac touching the wall in 3:27.75.
Jenna Reznicek posted the fastest backstroke time in the 200 medley (25.52).
