PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown co-ed and women's sailing teams are welcoming nine incoming first-year student-athletes into the fold this fall that will be members of the Class of 2025.
The nine hail from all corners of the globe and you can click on the slide show above to see information about each of the incoming student-athletes.
"We couldn't be more excited to officially announce the Class of 2025 varsity student-athletes for Coed and Women's Sailing," said head coach John Mollicone. "This class is a terrific mix of top recruits and walk-ons who have achieved a high level of success in high school sailing and at both domestic and international top youth events. They have all competed in many different classes of boats and bring a diverse set of skills that will help them contribute to the success of our program right away. They are all impressive students and leaders as well, with multiple valedictorians, National Merit Scholars, and Captains of their respective high school teams. We are really looking forward to having them begin their journey at Brown on September 1st for our first day together as a team."
Both teams are coming off of first place finishes in the NEISA Championships this spring. Both squads also competed in the ICSA National Championships as well.
