
Gymnastics Welcomes Five-Member Class of 2025

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University gymnastics will welcome five student-athletes to the program for the 2021-22 season as part of the Class of 2025, head coach Sara Carver-Milne announced on Monday.

The group includes student-athletes from across the United States with one gymnast each from the states of Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, Texas, and Oregon.

The Brown gymnastics Class of 2025 includes Julia Bedell (Haverhill, Mass.), Maya Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Addie Liebhardt (Eugene, Ore.), Taylor Schulze (San Antonio, Texas), and Sophia Sokolowsky (Williamsburg, Va.).

Hometown: Haverhill, Mass.
High School: Central Catholic
Club: Brestyan's Gymnastics
Height: 5-foot-2
Prep Accolades: Placed fifth in the all-around at 2016 Level 9 Easterns … Came in second in the all-around at 2017 level 10 States … Finished third in the all-around at 2018 Level 10 States … Qualified for Nationals in 2018 … Came in 10th place on beam at Nationals in 2018 … Tallied career highs at Level 10 of 9.65 on vault, 9.25 on bars, 9.5 on beam, and 9.65 on floor … Competed for coaches Mihai Brestyan and Silivia Brestyan … Performed on the club level for Brestyan's Gymnastics.
