5/17/2021 10:03:00 AM | Women's Crew
Brown University athletics will be recognizing its spring senior student-athletes throughout the months of March, April, May, and June. Senior student-athletes will be featured during the week on Brownbears.com and various social media platforms.
Name: Noelle Cooke
Hometown: Barrington, R.I.
Sport: Women's Crew
Concentration: Economics
Accolades: Earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2020 … Claimed a bronze medal with the B varsity four at the Ivy League championship in 2019 … Captured a silver medal in the third varsity eight at the Ivy League Championship in 2018 … Gained a Brown Community Sport Fellowship in the summer of 2019.
The best part of being on your team is:
My teammates are incredibly tough and have a strong work ethic. We push each other through early morning practices, bad weather conditions, and really tough training. There are really no words to describe the level of grit and perseverance that every athlete contributes.
Favorite spot on campus:
The Main Green! Especially on warm days, it is such a lively and beautiful place on campus.
Favorite experience as a Brown student-athlete:
My favorite experience has been rowing with my teammates on the Seekonk River. Arguably, some of our best competition comes from within the team, when our boats go head-to-head and really battle it out during practice.
Plans after graduation:
I am planning on moving to New York City, where I will be working as a Market Research Analyst for J.P. Morgan.
