Â
Name: Theo Powers
Hometown: Mexico, N.Y.
Sport: Wrestling
Concentration: Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations
Accolades: Represented the Bears at the 2019 EIWA Championships … Placed at the Wildcat Open in 2017 and 2019
                                                                                                 Â
Accomplishment you are most proud of:
I'm most proud of coming back from an array of injuries and setbacks to finish my college career in a way that I can be proud of!
Â
Plans after graduation:
While nothing is finalized yet, I may be continuing my athletic career, returning to college to pursue a second bachelor's degree in engineering, or working full time in the field of my dreams.
Â
The best part of being on your team is:
The camaraderie. I love my teammates like they're my family. In such a harsh and unforgiving sport, a bond like this is undeniably important!
Â
One thing most people don't know about me:
To anyone that's only seen me compete and doesn't know me as a person, I'm a country/farm boy through and through. I haven't met many other people at Brown who come from a background quite like mine, and I am proud to say that. Anyone can fit in at Brown, including a farm boy from the middle of nowhere!
