Men's swimming and diving picks up more wins on day two of Bruno Invite

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving remained on the top of the standings after day two of the Bruno Invite. The Bears earned three wins on the night.
Brown's 'A' relay team of Zach Le-Nguyen, Jack Kelly, Horace Qiao and Jerry O'Mara earned a second-place finish with a time of 1:29.06 in the 200 yard medley relay.
The Bears swept the 400 IM with Lukas Scheidl winning the event in a time of 3:53.86. Michael Lincoln finished second in a time of 3:54.29 and Ben Hayes took third, touching the wall in 3:56.01.
Qiao was the top finisher in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 48.62. Daniel Alber (49.18) and Chris Ma (49.34) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Two Bears earned podium finishes in the 200 freestyle with Tyler Lu taking second in 1:39.04. Right behind Lu was KJ Losee with a time of 1:39.08 for a third-place finish.
Kelly was third in the 100 breaststroke as the top Brown finisher with a time of 54.69. Vincent Huang (55.86) and Reid Arwood (55.90) finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
Le-Nguyen won the 100 backstroke with a time of 48.80. Qiao finished in second, touching the wall in a time of 49.36. Billy Knaul tied for fourth with a time of 49.69.
On the boards, Trevor Labuda earned another win with a score of 369.10. Nicholas Shen took second scoring 299.70 points.
The Bears relay team of Losee, Lincoln, Scheidl and Lu won the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 6:34.36. Lee, Ma, Le-Nguyen and Hess took third with a time of 6:42.31.
The Bears will finish up the Bruno Invite on Sunday (Dec. 5) with prelims at 10 a.m. and the finals beginning at 5 p.m.
