Lilly Jr. tabbed as Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Kino Lilly Jr. of the Brown men's basketball team has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.
Lilly averaged 14 points, four assists, and two steals during a 1-1 week for the Bears. The freshman shot 55% (11-for-20) from the field and 41.7% (5-for-12) from three.
The Glenn Dale, Md. Native had 15 points in the win against Merrimack and shot 4-for-7 from three. Against Vermont, Lilly had 13 points and tied his season-high of six assists. He recorded two steals in both contests.
This is the second weekly award of the season for Lilly, after he was also named Rookie of the Week on Nov. 15.
The Bears have about a week and a half off for finals before getting back on the court on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. at Rhode Island.
