PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's crew team opens the 2021 fall season at the Head of the Housatonic this Saturday at Indian Well State Park in Shelton, Connecticut. Saturday's races are scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.

2020-21 AT A GLANCE
Brown finished eighth in the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Championship team standings, marking the 23rd time in 24 seasons the Bears have finished in the top-10.
Racing in the petite finals in all three boats, Brown came in second in the first varsity eight for eighth overall and 45 team points, first in the second varsity eight for seventh overall and 32 team points, and sixth in the varsity four for 12th overall and 11 team points to finish with 88 points for eighth place.
ROSTER AT A GLANCE
Brown's roster totals 47 student-athletes – 34 returners and 13 newcomers. Headlining the returners are eight who competed in the first varsity 8 boat at the 2021 Nationals. Four returners earned 2021 Pocock All-America honors: Freya Keto (First Team), Beate Kaz (Second Team), Hannah Yazdani (Second Team), and Ellie Baker (Honorable Mention).
