Women's Rugby Readies for Match Against Dartmouth Saturday at Marvel Field

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's rugby team hosts Dartmouth on Marvel Field with kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m. on Brown's campus.
Brown will honor its 10 seniors and one graduate student following the final home game of the season at Marvel Field: Maggie Bachenberg, Johanna Bandler, Zoe Belge, Ainsley Clapp, Anna Deitcher, Olivia Duba, Lexi Nelson, Emmajane Rhodenhiser, Gemma Ryu, Marion Sellier, and Zy Thomas.
These student-athletes will be recognized prior to the game for their contributions to the Brown women's rugby program.

SCOUTING BROWN (3-1-1)
- Brown enters Saturday's match with a 3-1-1 overall record after a 26-20 home win over Quinnipiac on Saturday (Oct. 16).
- Mahdia Parker leads the Bears with seven tries in five games. Thomas is second on the team with six tries and Rhodenhiser is third with four tries.
- Duba leads the Bears with 37 total points in 2021. She has 13 of Brown's 19 conversions this season and the team's lone penalty kick.
- Fifteen different Bears have recorded points through the first five games of the season.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH (6-0-0)
- Dartmouth enters Saturday with a perfect 6-0 record in 2021 looking to finish its 2021 regular season unbeaten.
- The Big Green hold wins over LIU (92-5), Quinnipiac (50-10), Army (34-28), Sacred Heart (63-10), Mount St. Mary's (70-0), and Harvard (45-31) to this point of the season.
- Lilly Durbin leads the Big Green with 10 tries in six games and Emily Henrich is second on the team with seven tries in six games.
- Abbey Savin has 23 conversions to lead Dartmouth and Kristin Bitter is second on the team with 14 conversions.
- Saturday marks the seventh meeting between the Bears and Big Green since 2014. Brown holds a 2-4 record against Dartmouth with a pair of wins coming in the 2014 season.
