
Skiing Collects Postseason Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Avery Vilandrie (Peacham, Vt.) led the Brown ski team in postseason awards, earning Second Team All-American status with her 10th place finish in the slalom at USCSA Nationals.
In addition to Vilandrie, sophomores Maggie Beardsley (Sandy Hook, Conn.) and Alexa Dannis (Hillsdale, N.Y.) and freshman Maddie McCarthy (Barrington, R.I.) collected USCSA Scholar All-American accolades.
The Bears finished the season third in the country in the slalom while also competing in the giant slalom at the USCSA National Championships. Brown finished third in the MacConnell Division for the regular season and placed fourth at the USCSA Eastern Regionals.
