
Lewis, Cline Earn Brown Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Women's indoor track & field senior Zion Lewis and men's swimming & diving senior Cody Cline have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Feb. 24 to Mar. 1, Brown announced on Monday.

Zion Lewis, Women's Indoor Track & Field, Senior, Canton, Ga.
Senior Zion Lewis earned Most Outstanding Field Performer of the meet after totaling 14 points in a pair of field events at the 2020 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track & Field Championships. A native of Canton, Ga., she won the triple jump on Sunday at 44-1.25 to set the all-time Ivy League, school and facility record, which currently ranks eighth in the NCAA this season. Lewis also took fourth in the long jump on Saturday at 19-6.75 for fourth all-time in program history. Lewis added a fourth-place finish in the finals of the 60 meters on Sunday as she crossed in a time of 7.58.

Cody Cline, Men's Swimming, Senior, Wellington, Fla.
Senior Cody Cline earned Second Team All-Ivy honors for the Bears after finishing second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 43.22 on Saturday at the 2020 Ivy League Championships at Harvard University. A native of Wellington, Fla., Cline also competed in the 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay over the course of the championships and led off the 800 freestyle relay team that broke a school record on night one.
