# 12 Women’s Squash Earns 8-1 Win Over #26 Mt. Holyoke

South Hadley, Mass. - Brown's 12^th-ranked women's squash team had an easy time with #26 Mt. Holyoke Sunday afternoon, earning an 8-1 win over the Lyons.

"The Mount Holyoke team was very strong at the top of the ladder but we were able to play well and the team concentrated fully on the task at hand," said head coach Stuart leGassick. We are really looking forward to next weekend's Penn /Princeton matchups."

Brown (3-4 overall) won straight seven matches by 3-0 scores, starting with senior Isabel Young at number two and followed by senior Scarlett Bergam, junior Catherine Kimmel, sophomore Sara Syed, freshman Katherine Dowling, sophomore Naomi Shannash and sophomore Marissa Tam. Mt. Holyoke forfeited the ninth match.

The Bears take on #8 Penn on Saturday, February 1 in Philadelphia, and #3 Princeton on Sunday, February 2 in Princeton, NJ.
