#12 Women’s Squash Earns 9-0 Win Over #16 Amherst

Providence, R.I. - The 12thranked Brown women's squash team cruised to a 9-0 victory over 16th-ranked Amherst Tuesday afternoon at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion.
"Hats off to the team, who are sharing a team ailment," said head coach Stuart leGassick. "They stuck to their tasks and played well up and down the line up. The team have a short road trip to Mt. Holyoke next Sunday and we are hoping to continue the momentum that they have on court."
Brown found success throughout the lineup, starting with junior Alexa Jacobs at one, winning 3-1, and followed by sophomore Abigail Dichter (3-0), senior Hannah Seckendorf (3-0), freshman Danielle Benstock (3-0), senior Isabel Young (3-0), sophomore Isabella Kearns (3-0), senior Scarlett Bergam (3-0), junior Catherine Kimmel (3-0) and freshman Katherine Dowling (3-1).
The Bears are back action again on Sunday, January 26 at Mt. Holyoke, starting at 1:30 pm.
