Junior Max Gross (Halifax, Nova Scotia) posted a career-high nine saves for Brown (1-5-1) while sophomore Derek Waleffe was (Madison, Wis.) led the team with three shots on frame.
"I thought the energy level was good, the desire to win was good and the commitment to the game was good," said head coach Patrick Laughlin. "We created a lot of chances today but we have to defend better. It's hard to come back 2-0. Our guys are working extremely hard and pushing as far as they can for themselves so I'm pleased with their effort and energy."

The Aztecs kept up the pressure and took a two-goal lead at 51:21 when Pablo Pelaez put in a loose ball in front of the goal.
From there, the Bears would take seven corner kicks with several scoring chances but could not convert. Watkin's continued to be tested until the final whistle, adding three more saves.
