Women's Lacrosse Collects IWLCA Academic Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the program's efforts in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year. In addition, eight student-athletes made the IWLCA Honor Roll.
Brown was one of 91 Division I institutions to record a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2018-19 year in gaining the team honor. Individually, eight Bears joined the list of 501 student-athletes from 99 different institutions to achieve honor roll status. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
