
Lewis, Aughavin Earn Brown Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Women's track & field junior sprinter Zion Lewis and men's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Ryan Aughavin have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Apr. 29 to May 5, Brown announced on Monday.
Zion Lewis, Women's Track & Field, Junior, Canton, Ga.
Junior sprinter Zion Lewis won the Ivy title and earned First Team All-Ivy in the long jump with a winning leap of 20-1.5 at the Ivy League Outdoor Track & Field Championships. A native of Canton, Ga., Lewis also earned Second Team All-Ivy alongside Sydney Scott, Kennedy Kerr, and Hannah Barakat as the 4x100-meter relay placed second with a time of 45.98. Lewis added a third-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 42-6.25.
Ryan Aughavin, Men's Lacrosse, Sophomore, Glen Head, N.Y.
Sophomore midfielder Ryan Aughavin scored four goals and earned Ivy League All-Tournament Team honors as the Bears battled No. 1 seed Penn in an eventual 13-12 setback at the Ivy League Tournament. A native of Glen Head, N.Y., Aughavin scored two of his goals in the second half as Brown trimmed a 10-5 deficit in the third quarter down to 13-12 with 51 seconds left in the fourth quarter against the No. 3 nationally ranked Quakers.
