
Men’s Hockey Announces 2019-20 Schedule

Bears will play 14 home games next season
2019-20 Schedule
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's hockey head coach Brendan Whittet has released the schedule for the team's upcoming 2019-20 season.
Brown's 29-game schedule features 14 home games at Meehan Auditorium and consists of a full ECAC slate with seven non-conference contests, including four against Hockey East opponents. The Bears will play ten games against opponents that played in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, including six at home, and two that reached the Frozen Four.
The Bears will play ten games in the opening month of November, starting with a home-and-home series against Yale, when the team heads to New Haven (Nov. 1) before playing host to the Bulldogs the next night (Nov. 2) in the home opener. After a road trip to Cornell and Colgate on Nov. 8-9, the Bears return to College Hill for back-to-back home weekends, playing host to Harvard and Dartmouth (Nov. 15-16) and then Clarkson and St. Lawrence (Nov. 22-23).
Brown will visit Bentley on Tuesday, Nov. 26 in the first non-conference game of the season before heading to crosstown rival Providence College (Nov. 30) in the annual Mayor's Cup contest. The Bears will head out for an ECAC road weekend to Union and Rensselaer on Dec. 6-7 before playing host to UMass on Tuesday, Dec. 10 to wrap up the first half of the season.
Brown will kick off the second half with a pair of road games at New Hampshire (Jan. 4) and Boston University (Jan. 8), before welcoming Arizona State to Meehan Auditorium on Jan. 11-12 for a pair of contests to close out non-conference action. The Bears will remain home the following weekend against Rensselaer and Union on Jan. 17-18.
Following a trip to St. Lawrence and Clarkson, Brown will host Princeton and Quinnipiac on Feb. 7-8 and will visit Dartmouth and Harvard (Feb. 14-15). The Bears will play their final home weekend against Colgate and Cornell on Feb 21-22 before rounding out the season at Quinnipiac and Princeton the following weekend.
