
Women’s Lacrosse’s Mosenthal Named Baltimore Sun National Player of the Week

BALTIMORE, Md. – Sophomore Risa Mosenthal (Campton, N.H.) of the Brown women's lacrosse team was named The Baltimore Sun National Player of the Week on Friday for her play last weekend in a 12-11 upset at No. 9 Princeton.
The attack scored four goals and added an assist in a comeback victory against the Tigers. She posted all five of her points during a 10-0 run in which the Bears turned a 9-2 deficit with 18:42 to play in the first half into a 12-9 advantage with 12:26 remaining in the second half. Mosenthal, who leads the Bears in points (43) and goals (37) on the season, is a two-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honoree and is on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
Brown will next host back-to-back non-conference games at Stevenson-Pincince Field on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. Sacred Heart will come to town on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. game while Fresno State closes out the weekend's action on Sunday at noon. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+ while Sunday's contest will also appear live on NESNplus.
Video of all Brown women's lacrosse home contests and all Ivy League games, home and away, will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
