Brown Athletics Announces Chris Ip Will Not Return as Head Men’s Swimming & Diving Coach

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University Athletics Department announced today that Chris Ip will not return as the head coach of the men's swimming & diving program.
Ip recently completed his fifth season with the team, guiding the Bears to a sixth place finish at the 2019 Ivy League Championships. In his tenure at Brown, the program earned three CSCAA Scholar All-American team honors. Ip also served as an assistant coach for the Brown's women's team from 1983-84.
A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
