Nina Jacobson '87, Film Executive
A renowned film executive, Nina Jacobson '87 has worked on such films as The Hunger Games series, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and the film adaption of Crazy Rich Asians. Jacobson served as a film executive with The Walt Disney Company from 1998-2006, including as president of the Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group. Among her projects with Disney were The Sixth Sense, Remember the Titans, Pearl Harbor, The Princess Diaries, The Chronicles of Narnia, and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. In 2007, she established her own production company called Color Force, which has produced several films including Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Hunger Games series, and Crazy Rich Asians as well as the television series, American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. In 1995, she and film producer Bruce Cohen formed Out There, a collection of gay and lesbian entertainment industry activists.
