PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Women's lacrosse freshman midfielder Sophia DeRosa and men's ice hockey junior forward Brent Beaudoin have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Mar. 11-17, Brown announced on Monday.

Sophia DeRosa, Women's Lacrosse, Freshman, Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.
Freshman midfielder Sophia DeRosa scored her first collegiate goals in a key 14-11 Ivy League win over Yale on Saturday. The Cold Harbor, N.Y., native netted three goals in the first half and recorded her first career game-winning goal as she put Brown up 12-9 with 16:10 remaining in the second half. She scored her four tallies on just five shots.

Brent Beaudoin, Men's Ice Hockey, Junior, Londonderry, N.H.
Junior forward Brent Beaudoin scored two goals over the weekend to help Brown sweep No. 5 and top-seeded Quinnipiac in the ECAC Quarterfinals and send the Bears to Lake Placid. The Londonderry, N.H., native scored the game-tying goal with 21 seconds left in regulation on Friday in the team's eventual overtime win. Beaudoin then scored the go-ahead goal in the third period on Saturday to secure the series sweep.
