Zach Hunsaker Named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Basketball Team

Providence, R.I. - Brown University junior guard Zach Hunsaker (North Salt Lake City, UT) has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Men's Basketball Second Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
An Economics/Portuguese concentrator with a 4.0 GPA, Hunsaker is a two-year captain and helped the Bears to a 19-11 regular season record in 2018-19, matching the school record for wins in a season.
Hunsaker scored a season high 13 points against Yale and started 19 of Brown's last 20 games. He was the Bears' team leader in free throw percentage (.818). He averaged 5.8 points per game while handing out 42 assists and making 30 steals.
He tossed in a career best 21 points against Bryant as a sophomore, connecting on 5-of-10 treys, and knocked down 46 treys, second on the Brown team.
Hunsaker is the 10thindividual player in Brown basketball history to be honored as an Academic All-American.
