Throughout the month of February, Brown Athletics will celebrate Black History Month through the "28 Days of Black at Brown" series. Each day during the month, the Bears will recognize African Americans who have made an impact on the university community and beyond.

Sara Eaton '09, Field Hockey

A four-year standout for the Bears as a midfielder, Sara Eaton '09 earned Second Team Regional All-America and Second Team All-Ivy accolades as a senior. A two-time All-Ivy selection, she also gained Academic All-Ivy and NFHCA National Academic Squad honors during her career. The Bears' Team MVP as a senior, she ranks 12^th all-time at Brown in career assists. Since graduating, Eaton has held multiple marketing roles for USA Network under the umbrella of NBCUniversal and has remained active in mentoring current Brown students and recent graduates.
