NEW YORK, N.Y. – Freshman Sophia Miller matched her career high with 24 kills, and senior Makena Ehlert posted a double-double on 16 kills and 12 digs as Brown University volleyball topped Columbia University, 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 28-30, 25-23), on Friday night at Levien Gymnasium.
Â
In a match-up featuring two teams that entered the night tied for fourth place in the Ivy League standings, the Bears (13-8, 5-6 Ivy) took sole possession of fourth as they swept the season series from the host Lions (11-10, 4-7 Ivy). We know that we have another challenge ahead of us tomorrow with Cornell."
