
EJ Perry Sets Ivy League Single Season Total Offense Record; Dartmouth’s Fourth Quarter Rally Tops Brown, 29-23, For Ivy Championship

In the final game for 22 Brown seniors, Brown held a 24-14 lead after three quarters when Perry scored on a one-yard run late in the quarter. Dartmouth quarterback Derek Kyler through touchdown passes of nine and 39 yards to Drew Estrada in the final quarter for rally the Big Green.
Brown drove deep into Dartmouth territory in the waning moments of the game, but Dartmouth's Isiah Swann ended the game with an interception when Perry's pass went off the hands of a Brown receiver in the end zone to preserve the win.
Perry shattered the Ivy League single season record for total offense after accumulating 414 total yards against the Big Green. His 3,678 total yards eclipsed the previous Ivy League record of 3,553 yards by Princeton's Chad Kanoff in 2017. Overall, Perry completed 31-of-45 passes for 412 yards and a touchdown.
Perry completed the season with two Top-10 performances. His 2,948 yards are fifth in the Brown record book and his 251 completions rank sixth all-time at Brown.
Three Brown senior wide receivers had big games to conclude their careers, with Jakob Prall (Tipp City, OH) catching a career high 11 passes for 86 yards, Livingstone Harriott (Central Islip, NY) making five catches for 115 yards and Emerson Logie (New Canaan, CT) making five receptions for 50 yards.
Bears' senior defensive tackle Michael Hoecht (Oakwood, OH) registered two quarterback sacks and finished his career with 17 sacks, third on Brown's all-time list. Sophomore Nick Messina (East Setauket, NY) led the Bears with 10 tackles, while junior Jared Daul (Portland, OR) made two tackles for a loss.
Kyler through for 303 yards and four touchdowns for the Big Green, completing 19-of-23 passes. Estrada made 14 catches for 193 yards, while Hunter Hagdorn made 12 receptions for 152 yards.
Brown built a 10-0 lead on a 22-yard first quarter field goal by senior Dawson Goepferich (Holt, MO) and an 18-yard touchdown pass from Perry to Logie with 7:24 left in the second quarter.
Dartmouth scored on its next possession, a 39-yard scoring pass from Kyler to Caylin Parker to trail, 10-7 at the half.
Brown took the opening kickoff of the second half and extended its lead to 13-7 on a 23-yard field goal by Goepferich.
The Big Green took their first lead of the game, 14-13, on a Kyler touchdown toss to Hadgorf with 8:53 left in the quarter.
Undaunted, the Bears came storming back to take the lead once again. A 23-yard field goal by Goepferich game the Bears a 16-14 lead and a one-yard touchdown run by Perry with 1:45 remaining in the third quarter lifted the Bears to a 23-14 advantage.
