Brandon Anderson Named Ivy League Player of the Week

Providence, R.I. -Â Brown senior guard Brandon Anderson (Mahwah, NJ) has been named the Ivy League's top player for the second straight week, earning Ivy Player of the Week honors for his role in Brown's win over Quinnipiac to help the Bears improve to 3-0 on the season.Â

Anderson, who ranks sixth in the nation in scoring with 27.7 points per game, tossed in 28 points in the Bears' 70-68 win over Quinnipiac. He connected on 10-of-20 field goals against the Bobcats, while matching his career best with four treys.  Anderson, who ranks 10thall-time at Brown with 338 career free throws,  continued his outstanding shooting from the free throw line, connecting on all four of his free throws.

Anderson also moved into 21stplace on Brown's all-time scoring list with 1,045 career points.

The Bears are back in action on Tuesday evening at Sacred Heart in Fairfield, Conn., in a game televised by SNY and aired on WPRV 790 AM radio.
