Brandon Anderson Named Ivy League Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Providence, R.I. - Brown senior guard Brandon Anderson was named the Ivy League Men's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 27.5 points, four steals and 3.5 assists per game in wins over Bryant and Canisius.
Anderson scored a game high 23 points vs. Bryant, including the game-winning basket with 12 seconds remaining on a fade away jumper. He connected on 8-of-14 field goals and matched his career best with four steals.
He continued his torrid streak by pouring in a career high 32 points vs. Canisius, including his 1,000th career point. He knocked down a career high four treys (4-of-7) against the Golden Griffins, hitting 8-of-16 field goals and 12-14 free throws, while handing out five assists and matching his career high in steals once again.
Anderson has now scored 1,017 career points, 29thbest in Brown basketball history.
The Bears are back in action again on Wednesday evening, November 13, hosting Quinnipiac at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Tip-off is 7:00 pm on ESPN+ and WPRV Am 790.
