#10 Women's Squash Cruises To 9-0 Win Over Dickinson

Providence, R.I. - Brown's 10thranked women's squash team (3-3) had an easy time against Dickinson, cruising to a 9-0 win at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion with eight of the nine matches decided by a 3-0 margin.
"Our squad was mentally very excited for the match and it showed as they competed with energy and confidence," said head coach Stuart leGassick. "They all turned up to play hard. It was fun to watch."
The Bears were strong throughout the lineup, led by sophomore Alexa Jacobs, a 3-0 winner at number one, and junior Hannah Seckendorf, who captured a 3-0 decision at number two.
Also earning wins for the Bears were junior Isabel Young, 3-1, at number three; freshman Abby Dichter, 3-0, at four; freshman Isabella Kearns, 3-0, at five; junior Scarlett Bergam, 3-0, at six; freshman Sara Syed, 3-0, at seven; sophomore Catherine Kimmel at eight; and senior Hannah Safford, 3-0, at number nine.
The Bears will travel to Amherst, MA, on Wednesday, January 16, for a 1:00 pm match-up against Amherst.
