
Brown’s Chuck Isgar and Drew Powell Qualify For United States Four-Ball Championship

Providence, R .I. - Brown junior Chuck Isgar (Los Angeles, CA) and sophomore Drew Powell (Bangor, ME) have earned a berth in the 5th United States Golf Association Four-Ball Championship to be held May 25-29, 2019 at the Brandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon.
The duo qualified as a team with a five-under 66 in the 18 hole qualifying round held at the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island on September 12th.
The two members of the Brown University golf team successfully earned the berth in a sudden-death playoff against Philip Pleat and James Pleat. Both teams made par on the first playoff hole and Isgar rolled in a 30-foot birdie putt on the second playoff to secure a spot for the Isgar-Powell team in the USGA Amateur Four Ball Championship.
The US Amateur Four-Ball Championship is one of the United States Golf Association's annual championships.
