Women's Lacrosse Garners IWLCA Academic Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the program's efforts in the classroom during the 2017-18 academic year. In addition, 10 student-athletes made the IWLCA Honor Roll, tying Yale and Stanford for the highest number of honorees in Division I.
Brown was one of 95 Division I institutions to record a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2017-18 season in gaining the team honor. Individually, 10 Bears joined the list of 462 student-athletes from 105 different institutions to achieve honor roll status. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
