
Women's Basketball Adds Healy as Operations Coordinator

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Olivia Healy, a former standout student-athlete at the University of Richmond and the University of New Hampshire, will join the Brown University women's basketball staff as the team's operations coordinator, head coach Sarah Behn announced on Wednesday.

Healy played collegiately at Richmond from 2013-16 and at New Hampshire from 2016-18, appearing in 90 career games and averaging 10.7 points per game. Off the court, she served as a sports writing intern for WEEI Sports Radio Network in the summer of 2017 and during her time at Richmond gained experience as a sports writer, social media manager, and on-air video talent.

In her final season at UNH in 2017-18, Healy earned Second Team America East All-Conference honors, started all 31 games, and posted 12.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. She garnered Team MVP accolades in 2017-18 and took home Third Team America East All-Conference in 2016-17. Over her two seasons with the Wildcats, she tallied 11.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game over 48 contests.

At Richmond, Healy played in 19 games and averaged 12.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game as a freshman before missing the remainder of the season with an injury. With the Spiders, she registered 10.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game over 42 games before sitting out the 2015-16 season with an injury.

Healy worked with WEEI Sports Radio Network during the summer of 2017, covering professional teams in the Boston market. While at Richmond, she acted as a sports writer and social media manager for the school's student-run newspaper, The Collegian. She also worked with Richmond athletics' video department, SpiderTV, as an on-air talent.

A native of Reading, Mass., she finished her high school career as Reading Memorial's all-time leading scorer with 1,897 career points. The 2013 Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year, Healy earned a bachelor's degree from Richmond in 2016 and a master's degree from New Hampshire in 2018.
