
Men's Track & Field's Distance Medley Relay Set for NCAA Championship on Friday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University men's distance medley relay team is set to compete at the 2018 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship this weekend at Gilliam Indoor Stadium on the campus of Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.
Brown will compete in the distance medley relay final on Friday, March 9 at 9:45 PM ET. ESPN3 will stream the meet live starting at 6:30 p.m. ET March 9 and starting at 5 p.m. ET March 10. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 7 p.m. ET Sunday, March 11 on ESPN2.
The relay team of Zachary Lanigan (1,200), Tosin Oyewole (400), Zack Emrich (800) and Martin Martinez (1,600) earned one of just 12 spots to the NCAA Championships after posting a converted time of 9:29.90 at the UCS Invitational (Feb. 16). The group placed fourth overall at that meet, made up of some of the top distance teams in the country, trailing only Georgetown, Ole Miss and Villanova.
