Men’s Golf Completes Play At The Georgetown Invitational

Beallsville, Md. - Brown's men's golf team put together a 10^thplace finish at the Georgetown Invitational, completing play on Tuesday at the par 71, 7,035 yard Four Streams. The Bears shot a 54-hole 891 that included a sizzling 290 in the second round.

Princeton captured the team title by six shots over Seton Hall with a 54-hole score of 856. Georgetown was second at 862, followed by host Georgetown (868), Butler (871), St. Joseph's (875), Florida Atlantic (875), St. Bonaventure (882), William & Mary (882), Navy (888), Brown (891), Rhode Island (894) and Penn (898).

Senior Sasha Lobel paced the coach Mike Hughes' team and placed 25^thindividually with a six-over 219 on rounds of 76-70-73. Sophomore Drew Powell shot 74-77-73—224 to place 48^thindividually.

Junior Chuck Isgar posted rounds of 81-72-74—227, while freshman Andy Zhou came in at 77-77-74—229. Junior Kenneth Li rounded out the Bears scoring at 232 on rounds of 80-71-81.

The Bears will finish up the fall on Monday, October 22 against Holy Cross and Bryant at the Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, Mass.
