
Baseball to Honor First Responders at Fall Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University baseball program will honor police, fire department and emergency personnel on Monday, October 8, as it hosts First Responders Day as part of the team's Fall baseball game against Northeastern.

A pre-game ceremonial first pitch will take place 10 minutes prior to the 1 PM start at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium, honoring several local first responders.
Â
Representatives from Brown University Department of Public Safety, Providence and Boston police and other local first responder units will be present at the game. In addition, donations will be accepted for the Boston Police Relief Fund to support the families of fallen officers.
