PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore forward Erika Steeves scored a team-high 21 points, but Brown University women's basketball dropped a 66-63 decision to Harvard University on Saturday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center in its final home game of the regular season.
The Bears (14-11, 5-7 Ivy) tied the game 59-59 with 1:44 left on a 3-point play from sophomore guard Taylor Will (Arlington Heights, Ill.), but a jumper in the paint from Katie Benzan and 5-of-6 free throw shooting in the final 20 seconds lifted the Crimson (20-5, 8-4 Ivy) to the win.
