
Women's Lacrosse Travels to Florida to Face No. 20 Louisville

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will play No. 20 Louisville in Florida on Saturday, Feb. 25 in a 1:00 p.m. contest.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bears moved to 2-0 on the season with a 9-4 win against Holy Cross at Stevenson-Pincince Field on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Sophomore Hafsa Moinuddin netted her second consecutive hat trick for Brown while junior Mikaela Karlsson made 10 saves in net.
ALL-TIME VS. LOUISVILLE
The Bears and Cardinals have just met once all-time, and played the only match-up last season where No. 5/6 Louisville came away with a 14-6 win at UofL Lacrosse Stadium on March 30.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Louisville enters the weekend with a 4-1 record, having defeated Vanderbilt 11-10 at home on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The team's lone loss on the year was at No. 19 Denver, 11-10, on Feb. 18. Meghan Siverson leads the Cardinals with 18 goals and three assists for 21 points, while Hannah Koloski has 18 points with 17 goals and an assist. Freshman Ashley Lynch leads Louisville with six assists on the year. Brittany Read owns an 8.67 goals against average and has 49 saves on the season in net.
BROWN LEADERS
The Bears are led in scoring by sophomore Hafsa Moinuddin, who has 10 points on eight goals and two assists. Junior Emma Dahle is tied for second on Brown in scoring with five points, on two goals and a team-best three assists. Sophomore Grace Plassche also has five points for the Bears (4G, 1A). Junior Mikaela Karlsson has started both games in net, posting a nine save shutout in the team's first game on Feb. 18 (19-0W, Sacred Heart), and recording 10 saves in a 9-4 victory against Holy Cross on Feb. 21.
