
English Named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Quinn English (Milwaukee, Wis.) of the Brown men's soccer team was named by College Soccer News to the National Team of the Week, announced on Monday.
English helped lead Brown (8-4-2) to a pair of wins during the week and had a hand in all three of the team's goals, finishing with one goal and a pair of assists.
On Tuesday, he assisted on Toby Howell's game winner against UMass Lowell, setting the stage for a 1-0 victory. English went on to post three points in a crucial 2-1 overtime win over Ivy League rival Penn on Saturday. After scoring the opening goal of the game with nine seconds left in the first half, he earned the primary assist on Nico Lozada's game winner in the 97th minute.
English leads the Bears with five assists this season and ranks second in goals (3) and points (11).
Brown will visit Hofstra on Tuesday (7 PM) before taking on Yale on Saturday night in New Haven.
