
Cline Earns Ivy League Swimmer of the Week Honors by College Swimming

SOMERS Wis. – Brown men's swimming & diving freshman Cody Cline (Wellington, Fla.) was named Ivy League Swimmer of the Week by College Swimming in an announcement made by the organization on Tuesday.
Cline helped the Bears defeat Cornell, 197-103 on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in the program's regular season finale. The Wellington, Fla. native posted two individual victories on the day, one in the 50 freestyle (20.32) and the second in the 100 freestyle (45.28).
In relays, Cline anchored the 200 medley relay team that opened the meet with a first-place finish (1:30.21). To close the meet, Cline led off the 400 freestyle relay team that took first in 3:02.20.

The Bears will next compete in the Ivy League Championships, hosted by Harvard at Blodgett Pool, on Wednesday, Feb. 22 through Saturday, Feb. 25.
