#10 Bears Post Perfect 9-0 Weekend With Wins Over Virginia, #21 Bowdoin and #14 Middlebury

Providence, R.I.-The 10th-ranked Brown women's squash team turned in a dominating weekend at the Pizzitola Sports center, sweeping past Virginia, #21 Bowdoin and #14 Middlebury by 9-0 scores.
Junior Quincy Beck and freshman Hannah Seckendorf were strong at the top of the lineup with Beck beating Virginia, 3-0, Bowdoin, 3-1, and Middlebury, 3-0 at number one. Seckendorf, playing number two, posted a 3-1 win over Virginia, rallied for a 3-2 win over Bowdoin after being two games down, and cruising past Middlebury, 3-0.
Also posting three wins over the weekend were senior Hannah Hay-Smith at 4/3, freshman Isabel Young at number five, freshman Scarlett Bergam at number six, sophomore Katrina Northrop at seven, sophomore Purvi Goel at eight and freshman Hannah Safford at 8/9.
The Bears will host Penn on Saturday, February 4 and Princeton on Sunday, February 5 at the Kate Browsky Squash Pavilion.
