Cross Country's Fullerton, Leary Named HepsTrack Rookies of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Freshman Mae Fullerton (Wayzata, Wis.) of the Brown women's cross country team, and Jeremy Leary (San Anselmo, Calif.) of the men's team were named the HepsTrack Rookies of the Week, announced on Monday.
Fullerton was the Bears' top finisher at the Bryant University Nassaney Invitational on Saturday, completing the five-kilometer course in 18:24.0. She was fifth overall as the Bears finished just one place behind Rhode Island, 61-62, for second place.
Leary finished second overall at the Nassaney Invitational in his collegiate debut, completing the eight-kilometer course in 25:49.0. The Bears ended with incomplete scoring but had three top-10 individual finishers.
The Bears return to action on Friday, Sept. 16 at the Boston College Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
