Track & Field's Williams Set for NCAA Championship on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior O'Sha Williams (Jamaica, N.Y.) of the Brown women's track & field team is set to compete at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship this week (June 8-11) at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Williams will compete in the women's triple jump finals on Saturday, June 11 at 6:30 PM EST. Live coverage of all four days of competition will be available through ESPN, while the triple jump finals will also be streamed live on ESPN3.
Williams is one of 24 participants in the triple jump after she placed 10th at the East Preliminary to earn one of the 12 regional spots to Oregon. She qualified with a mark of 13.15 meters on her final leap. The jump was wind aided at +2.7 for sixth-best in Ivy League history in all conditions as well as second best in the Brown record books. Williams was the runner-up in the triple jump at the Outdoor Ivy Championships and claimed the indoor title in the winter.
