Schlafer Competes at NCAA Zone Diving Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Junior Jonathon Schlafer (Uniontown, Ohio) competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships held at Navy on Monday and Tuesday.
In Monday's 3-meter, Schlafer scored 251.50 to place 32nd, surpassing his last year's score of 234.50.
On Tuesday in 1-meter, Schlafer turned in a 22nd place finish, scoring 266.60, again exceeding his score from a year ago (218.00). His top dive of the set was a forward 2-½ somersault pike that earned 50.70 points and put him in 13th for that round.
