Brown Topples Williams, 7-2

Providence, R.I. – In a match that could have fallen in either direction, #16 Brown earned a 7-2 win over #18 Williams Tuesday evening at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion, winning three matches in five games and three more in four games.

Senior Oliver Booth dropped his first game at number four and rallied for an 11-6, 11-13, 11-6, 5-11, 11-7 win for the Bears. Freshman Philip Demeulenaere went down 2-1 before coming back for a 3-2 win at number five. Sophomore Alex Demeulenaere also earned a hard-fought 3-2 decision at number seven.

The Bears are at #2 Penn on Saturday, February 5 and #11 Princeton on Sunday, February 6. Both matches start at 12 noon.
