Bears Open Season At Yale, Fall To Bulldogs, 9-0

New Haven, CT - Brown opened its 2016-17 season at Yale Tuesday evening, falling to the Bulldogs by a 9-0 margin in its only competition of the first semester. The Bears return to action on January 14 at Columbia and January 15 at Cornell.

Brown's most exciting and contested matches against the Bulldogs came at number five with freshman Isabel Young (McLean, VA) falling in four games, 11-7, 12-10, 10-12, 11-4, and at number six where freshman Scarlott Bergam (Short Hlls, NJ) fell in four games, 11-7, 11-3, 6-11, 11-5.
