The Bears gained a 15-point advantage at 28-13 with 8:15 to go until halftime following a Mehta 3-pointer and a Butler layup. The Raiders pulled within 32-24 on a 7-0 streak, but a corner trey from Mehta at the buzzer off a pass from junior Megan Reilly (Norwood, N.J.) pushed Brown ahead 35-24 at the break.
