#11 Brown Takes 6-3 Win Over #14 Middlebury

The 11^th-ranked Brown women's squash team traveled to Middlebury, Vermont and came away with a solid 6-3 win over 14^th-ranked Middlebury. The Bears are now 2-4 overall.

Brown excelled at the top of the lineup with sophomore Quincy Beck earning a 3-0 win at number one, and senior Skylar Murphy taking a 3-1 decision at number two.

The Bears dropped matches at numbers three through five, but rallied at numbers six through nine. Junior Hannah Hay-Smith was a 3-1 winner at six, freshman Purvi Goel took a 3-0 decision at seven, sophomore Katherine Pisani was a 3-0 winner at eight and freshman Hannah Safford earned a 3-0 victory at nine.

Brown is back in action next on Sunday, January 24 at Bowdoin.
