
Men's Golf 12th at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge

Competing in its second tournament of the fall season, the Brown men's golf team placed 12th at the 36-hole Quechee Collegiate Challenge, held at the Quechee (Vt.) Club. The Bears shot a two-round 621 on rounds of 307-314. Dartmouth grabbed the team title by four shots by shooting 285-293—578.
Pacing the Bears was junior Connor Lynch (Bradenton, FL) and freshman Bryan Hong, who each shot 154. Both Lynch and Hong came in with rounds of 77-77 to place 32nd individually in the 77-player field.
Sophomore Kevin Li (Vancouver, BC) was close behind after shooting 77-78—155, while junior Chad Carlson (Overland Park, KS) shot 76-82—158. Senior captain Jack Wilson (Fairfield, CA) opened the tournament by shooting 77, but withdrew in the second round.
Coach Mike Hughes' team is back in action on October 3-4 at the MacDonald Cup, played at the Yale Golf Course in New Haven, Conn.
