ALBANY, N.Y. – Dakotah Savitcheff's seven goals powered the #19/18 Albany Great Danes to a convincing 15-4 victory over the Brown women's lacrosse team on Wednesday at John Fallon Field.

Brown falls to 5-6 overall after dropping their third consecutive contest, while Albany improves to 10-2 and winners of six of their last seven outings.

Emma Dahle (Wynnewood, Pa.) and Lauren Toy (Kentfield, Calif.) each tallied a goal and an assist for the Bears, with freshman Hannah Langmuir (Providence, R.I.) recording her first collegiate points with two assists in just her second appearance of the season.

Abby Bunting (Wellesley, Mass.) and Sarah Nesi (Westport, Conn.) also found the back of the net for the Bears on Wednesday. Kellie Roddy made six saves for the Bears in 52:05 of action, as the Great Danes launched 26 shots at the senior's direction.

The Bears were blanked in the first half, as they faced a 7-0 deficit entering the final 30 minutes of action after Savitcheff's hat trick in the first half staked the hosts to a comfortable cushion. Toy finally got the Bears on the board just 54 seconds into the second half off a feed from Langmuir for the rookie's first collegiate point.

From there, the Great Danes embarked on a 7-1 run to take a 14-2 lead, capped by Savitcheff's seventh goal of the afternoon and 50^th marker of the season.

Dahle and Nesi added goals in the final 4:14 to account for the rest of the Brown scoring.

Despite controlling 13-of-21 draws on the afternoon, the Bears were plagued by 15 turnovers and a 23-12 disadvantage in ground balls. Alyssa DiBona (Media, Pa.) hauled in a game high five draws for Brown on Wednesday.

Nichole Eamer chipped in with a hat trick for the Great Danes, while Maureen Keggins posted a goal and four assists.

Up next, the Bears will honor their six seniors on Saturday at Stevenson Field with a tilt against Ivy foe, Columbia, beginning at 1 p.m.
